  • Entry deadline?
    • June 6th.
  • Will there be late entries?
    • Yes late entries will be accepted, entry fee will be $50/head.
  • Will there be random drug testing for ewe exhibitors or just market lambs?
    • All animals entered in The Show are subject to drug testing.
  • Will there be show supply vendors there?
    • Yes, Sullivan’s Show Supply will be at The Show.
  • Are there wash racks?
    • Yes.
  • Are masks required when showing?
    • The Show will be keeping a close eye on Nevada, Reno, and The Nugget mandates regarding COVID-19. Exhibitors and spectators will be expected to comply with all policies of The Nugget, Reno, or Nevada, as the case may be.
  • Are there stalling requests?
    • Stalling will be first-come, first-serve. All entries will be required to stall in the facility unless there are not enough pens. We will know this by the time entries close.
  • Can I substitute animals from the same breeder?
    • Substitute entries of eligible lambs raised by a breeder-sponsor of The Show are allowed.
  • If a ewe is double entered in the market show will she still be terminal?
    • Yes. All animals entered in the market show will be required to go to harvest.
  • Is there an auction?
    • THE SHOWCASE @ THE SHOW will be open to breeder-sponsors to consign up to two (2) animals each. There will be no sale or auction of show winners. Guaranteed minimum cash awards are stated in the Rules.
  • Where will we show if it rains?
    • The Show will take place inside if rain does occur or appears to be in the forecast.
  • Are we required to wear t-shirts?
    • Yes. The Show will have two (2) t-shirts – one for each day – that all exhibitors will be required to wear when in the show ring.
  • Will there be an ice cream truck?
    • Heck yeah!
  • What happens if our breeder ends up with more sheep than they sponsored?
    • A breeder-sponsor will have the option of increasing their sponsorship level if more of their lambs than are eligible are entered. If the breeder-sponsor does not elect to increase their sponsorship level, that breeder-sponsor will be required to select which of their lambs will be eligible to show, or if they choose not to select which of their lambs are eligible, the first lamb(s) entered up to their sponsorship level will be deemed eligible.
